Welcome to the site of the future Cheney Dog Park!
The purpose of this site is to educate the community and unite supporters of the Cheney Dog Park.
In February the Cheney City council passed a majority vote for a 2 acre plot of land on the corner of 1st and Presley here in Cheney. Due to COVID-19 the fundraising activities being planned by the Dog Park Committee were put on hold to follow all CDC guidelines for social distancing.
As guidelines are ever changing, the committee is doing what they can to meet virtually and plan new fundraising activities.
As you can imagine, gathering for activites such as the Annual Cheney Doggy Dash or play dates at the park are not going to look like what they have in years past.
